Last weekend I was lucky enough to spend a few days in New York City, and as I wandered around soaking up the inspiration, a stop at the ledgendary ABC Carpet and Home was a must! The first things I saw in that glorious store stopped me in my tracks and I've been thinking about them ever since. Shelves and shelves chocked full of lovely, rustic white and clear glass tableware- so gorgeous! White and cream color palettes are a wedding classic, but I loved the way these dishes inspired a more rustic, shabby chic version of traditional white on white. It's the perfect wedding day look for combining delicate feminine details with organic earthy accents. Rhinestones and chiffon with distressed wooden tabletops and tumbling floral arrangements. Pure romance!

YES!  I did the same thing last month while in NYC with my mother for the NYIGF.  Love this store!

I was in NYC a few weeks ago. Too bad we missed each other. Maybe we can make a trip together one of these days. :)

I'm bummed that I didn't go to this store on my trip to NYC last month. Next time! I love the vintage white inspiration, the textures are so pretty. Love it!
