Junebug reader, Kara, recently wrote to tell us all about her wedding plans, and one of my favorite things she's chosen for her June wedding is to have an Italian pasta reception instead of a traditional sit down dinner. "A few kinds of noodles and sauces, Caesar salad, a mix of breads and then our cake. Cheaper and not as formal, but still sexy. Italian, easy and romantic, and this bride loves her pasta!" What a great way to add personality to the reception! Some other fun Italian touches to throw in could be some antipasti dishes to start the guests off before Kara and her new husband arrive, a yummy Prosecco for the toast and a few gelato flavors to be served along with the cake.
