The 12th Avenue area of Capitol Hill is booming these days, and one of the hottest destinations on this strip is making a name for itself city wide. As the little sister to amazing restaurant Lark, Licorous is a delight. Come here for the perfect cocktail before dinner next door, a few bites of their heavenly treats and an escape from Seattle reality. The funky mod interior and smiling staff will greet you at the door and the creative food and drink pairings will get you giddy to try them all. When we went, we tried the Kaffir Lime Sour cocktail with the Tuna Tartare nibble, and the sweet citrus Renaissance cocktail with the Fois Gras Bon Bon bite. After that we couldn’t resist moving on to a few of their larger dishes as we wanted more, more, more! It's quality, not quantity that counts here, so be ready to savor each delectable little bite!
