I’ve been told there is a deceptive simplicity to my wedding photography. I am not into gimmicks or special techniques. I just try to capture something special on film and do it without a lot of hoopla.

My art history background has given me fluency in a visual language. Composition, lighting, these are the things I studied in paintings. I want my work to stand on its own, so it don’t use soft filters, infared, or montages. I believe every image should be strong and solid, it’s about the basics; composition, lighting, contrast and the decisive moment.
