With a style that fuses fine-art portraiture & photo journalism, Ian is an internationally acknowledged and awarded photographer that is known to push the photographic boundaries while mixing traditional and modern portrait photography. Ian’s work has been displayed in leading publications internationally and has received awards by the BBC in the UK, the Lucie Awards in the USA and many awards in his home country.

Besides weddings, Ian is represented as a fashion/editorial photographer by South Africa’s leading photographic agency "The Pixel Foundry." Ian is also a fixed wing pilot and has a passion for flying, and from time to time even fly’s to his jobs that are of distance from Cape Town.

 

Ian currently is working on a special photographic project, The Cherish Series, and also in the works is his first publication of portraits shot in water.
